Hi,
I am new to IARMROOT. I am not from china / Korea. So do not follow your language.
I have seen so much dedication to study hard and understand linux kernel. It would be great to be part of such group to constantly be motivated to study hard. But I am not sure where to start. I am a computer science student having basic knowledge on Linux kernel. I am not sure how to participate in your study and what are you guys doing as part of this study? If I cannot participate in the study, can I follow your study notes and understand what you guys have done?
For Kernel 5.x for ARM architecture, how do you analyze the code, which books to read to understand linux kernel, where is it documented?
Thanks!
.
Our Study Group starts with a head.S file for each architecture.
Then, proceed to the code of the start_kernel branch instrunction branching from the architecture.
Each concept is difficult to refer to as a book.
(difference in kerenl version, abbreviation of variable, meaning of comment)
So we search through google!
Documentation at https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
We are analyzing the source code based on the link https://github.com/torvalds/linux/.
(there are documentation directory)
And many stackoverflow posts ...
